Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 7 am this morning

to 3 am EST Tuesday.

* accumulations... snow accumulation of 8 to 12 inches.

* Hazard types... heavy snow.

* Timing... snow will continue through the day... then taper off

tonight.

* Impacts... snow covered roads could lead to hazardous travel

 conditions.

* Winds... north 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* Temperatures... 4 below to 9 above zero.

 

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather

conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow

are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an

emergency. If you must travel keep an extra flashlight...
