Clear, sunny, cold with a blizzard coming. Happy Valentine's Day!

Good morning Augusta.

If you live in the Augusta, Maine region you should know by now that we’re going to catch hell yet again starting tonight with a snow storm that will leave us between 18 and 24 inches of snow. The drifting wil be nasty given the wind we’re supposed to get.

Happy Valentine’s day.

This morning it is  mostly cloudy with a chance of snow in the morning, then overcast with snow. High of 14F. Winds less than 5 mph. Chance of snow 80%.

Tonight it will be overcast with snow. Fog overnight. Low of 9F with a windchill as low as -11F. Breezy. Winds from the NE at 10 to 25 mph with gusts to 30 mph. Chance of snow 100% with accumulations up to 8 in. possible.

The humidity is 44% with a dew point of -11.0ºF, Temperature is 6.5ºF and a wind chill of 5.5ºF

Our wind direction is Northeast between 0.4 MPH and  1.3 MPH. Those velocities will pick up significantly later on. 

The Barometric pressure is 30.03 HPA 1016.9 and rising with a weather graphic indicating sun. 

The UV rating is 0 out of 16, Sunrise is at 6:40 a.m. sunset is 5:06 PM and Moon Rise is 2:44 a.m. and the moon phase is Waning Crescent.

We have had no additional snow in the past 24 hours, but you know whats going to nail us starting tonight so be ready for it.
