#MEwx Winter Weather advisory and Urgent message

URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Gray ME Issued 341 AM EDT Sun Apr 26 2020 HEAVY WET SNOW TONIGHT INTO MONDAY. Low pressure emerging off the coast and tracking near Cape Cod will spread precipitation across New Hampshire and Maine beginning Sunday evening. As cold air gets pulled into this system, rain will change to a heavy wet snow for a time early Monday morning. Snow may linger into the day Monday as the low stalls near the Gulf of Maine. Snowfall amounts are highly uncertain with this storm as ground level temperatures will remain near or above freezing. This will limit accumulations except during the heavier bursts of precipitation. The heavy and wet nature of the snow will make for the possibility of downed tree limbs and power outages in areas that get heavier accumulations. WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM THIS EVENING TO MIDNIGHT EDT MONDAY NIGHT. * WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches expected.
