... Winter Storm Watch in effect from Sunday afternoon through
late Monday night...
The National Weather Service in gray has issued a Winter Storm
Watch... which is in effect from Sunday afternoon through late
Monday night.
* Hazard types... snow.
* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches over two
days.
* Timing... light snow will start Saturday night and continue
without much break right through Monday. The heaviest snow is
expected late Sunday into Monday night.
* Impacts... roads will become snow covered and slippery.
Additional snow will continue to add weight to any heavily
snow- covered roofs.
* Winds... northeast 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
* Temperatures... 5 to 20 above.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow... sleet... or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
