Winter Storm Watch Statement as of 3:17 am EST on February 18, 2015

Winter Storm Watch now in effect from this evening through

late Thursday night.

* hazard types... heavy snow.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 8 to 12 inches.

* Timing... some light snow is possible late today. Heavier

snowfall moves into the area Thursday into Thursday evening.

This snow will taper off early Friday.

* Impacts... snow covered roads and low visibilities could lead to

dangerous travel conditions.

* Winds... north 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* Temperatures... 10 to 26.
