Wind advisory on top of the wind chill...

Good morning Augusta.

We are under a wind advisory from 10 a.m. this morning to 5 p.m. this evening. This is in addition to the wind chill advisory.

This is serious folks, don’t ignore it. Be mindful of pets and your generator for potential power outages.

This morning it is  partly cloudy. High of 28F with a windchill as low as -2F. Breezy. Winds from the West at 15 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

Tonight it will be  clear. Low of -4F with a windchill as low as -18F. Breezy. Winds from the WNW at 10 to 20 mph.

 The readings from my own weather instruments are:

The humidity is 48% with a dew point of 15ºF, Temp is 31.5ºF. and a wind chill of 14ºF.

Our wind direction is Souththwest between 12.4 MPH and  20.7 MPH.

The UV rating is 0 out of 16, Sunrise is at 7:14 a.m. sunset is 4:13 PM and Moon Rise is at 5:08 p.m. EDT and the moon phase is a full moon.
