Freezing Rain Advisory in effect from 10 am this morning to

5 PM EST this afternoon.

The National Weather Service in gray has issued a Freezing Rain

Advisory which is in effect from 10 am this morning to 5 PM EST

this afternoon.

* Hazard types... light freezing rain

* ice accumulations... around a trace.

* Timing... freezing rain will begin in the morning.

* Impacts... very cold surfaces and roadways will become ice

covered.

* Winds... south 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

* Temperatures... in the low 30s.

 

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or

freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for

slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.
