Dangerous wind chills and clear

Good morning Augusta.

It is “killing cold” out there today. Dead air temps are in the teens below zero, with the wind chill its 30 below so don’t go out unless you have to.

This morning it is   clear, then partly cloudy. High of 9F with a windchill as low as -31F. Winds from the WNW at 5 to 10 mph shifting to the SW in the afternoon

Tonight it will be  mostly cloudy with a chance of snow after midnight. Low of 12F with a windchill as low as 0F. Winds from the SSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 40%.

The humidity is 68% with a dew point of -22ºF, Temp is -9.7ºF. and a wind chill of -9.7ºF.

Our wind direction is West Southwest between 2.2 MPH and  3.1 MPH.
