Wind Chill Advisory

Statement as of 3:28 am EST on January 6, 2015

Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 10 am EST this
morning.
* hazard types... very cold wind chills.
* Timing... temperatures will not rise significantly until 10 am
Tuesday.
* Impacts... very cold air may result in frostbite or hypothermia.
* Winds... west 5 to 10 mph.
* Temperatures... 8 below to 3 above zero.
* Wind chill... as low as 25 below due to temperatures 8 below to
3 above zero... and winds west 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 25
mph.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds
will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in
frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.
If you must venture outdoors... make sure you wear a hat and
gloves.
