More mild with rain coming

Good morning Augusta.

We are under a freezing rain advisory until 5 this evening, but I’m betting they will extend that.

This morning it is overcast with ice pellets and a chance of snow, then rain and a chance of snow in the afternoon. Fog early. High of 36F with a windchill as low as 19F. Winds from the South at 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation 90% . 

Tonight it will be overcast with rain. Fog overnight. Low of 41F. Winds from the SSE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 100% with rainfall amounts near 0.7 in. possible.

The readings from my own weather instruments are:

The humidity is 60% with a dew point of 17ºF, Temp is 27.7ºF. and a wind chill of 27.7ºF.

Our wind direction is South between 0.0 MPH and  1.0 MPH. 

The Barometric pressure is 30.19 HPA 1021 and falling with a weather graphic indicating rain/snow.

The UV rating is 0 out of 16, Sunrise is at 7:09 a.m. sunset is 4:29 PM and Moon Rise is at 5:02 a.m. EDT and the moon phase is waning crescent.

WE had no snow in this area over the past 24 hours, but threre is a mess coming up today so take care.
