Overcast and snowy today

Good morning Augusta.

Pay attention to the Winter Weather Advisory posted earlier. Depending on whose snowfall prediction you hear, we can get snow amounts between 2 inches and 8 inches. Hey, the NWS is run by the Federal Government. What do you expect? Accuracy?

This morning it is mostly cloudy with a chance of snow in the morning, then overcast with snow. High of 30F. Winds from the SE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 90%.

Tonight it will be overcast with snow in the evening, then partly cloudy. Low of 21F. Winds from the NW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 70% with accumulations up to 5 in. possible. 

The readings from my own weather instruments are:

The humidity is 74% with a dew point of 13ºF, Temp is 22.1ºF. and a wind chill of 22.1ºF.

Our wind direction is South Southeast between 0.1 MPH and  0.5 MPH. 

The Barometric pressure is 29.78 HPA 1007 and falling with a weather graphic indicating snow.

The UV rating is 0 out of 16, Sunrise is at 7:05 a.m. sunset is 4:37 PM and Moon Rise is at 9:20 a.m. EDT and the moon phase is waxing crescent.

WE had   no new rain or snow here in the past 24 hours, but its darn sure coming today..
