Winter Weather Advisory

Statement as of 6:24 am EST on February 21, 2014

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 am EST this

morning...

* hazard types... snow... sleet... and freezing rain.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of up to 1 inch... along with

around a trace of ice.

* Timing... light snow should transition to a mixture of sleet

and freezing rain... then eventually to plain rain during

friday morning.

* Impacts... slippery roads and other surfaces... especially those

that are untreated.

* Winds... east 5 to 10 mph.

* Temperatures... in the lower 30s.

 

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or

freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for

slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while

driving.
