Winter Storm Warning statement as of 3:41 am EDT on March 12, 2018

Winter Storm Warning in effect from 4 am Tuesday to 2 PM EDT Wednesday.

* what... heavy snow expected. Travel will be very difficult to impossible, including during the evening commute on Tuesday. Total snow accumulations of 12 to 18. Locally higher amounts

are possible.

* Where... northern New Hampshire, western mountains and foothills, and mid-coast Maine.

* When... from 4 am Tuesday to 2 PM EDT Wednesday.

* Additional details... be prepared for significant reductions in

visibility at times. Some blowing of drifting of snow is

expected in mid-coast Maine. Plan ahead and use caution if you

must travel.
