The following recipe was posted 3 months ago, but it is an easy grab ‘n go treat for working outdoors in this winter weather.

It’s quick, easy, tastes great and your doctor wouldn’t want you to have any of it. So what’s not to like?

CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER KRISPY BARS

1 cup sugar

1 cup white Karo syrup

1 cup peanut butter

6 cups Rice Krispies

Chocolate chips, butterscotch chips

1.

2.      Bring sugar and Karo to a boil.  Remove from heat.

3.      Add peanut butter, mix well, then add Rice Krispies.

4.      Grease 9”x13” pan.

5.      Turn mixture into prepared pan, and pat down to make an even layer.

6.      Melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips (at least 12 oz., more is okay!).

7.      Spread onto Krispie mixture.

8.      When set, cut into squares.
