northwestern Sagadahoc... southeastern Franklin... central Rockingham... Strafford and eastern Carroll counties...

At 713 PM EDT, an area of heavy snow was located along a line

extending from near Dexter to near Wilton to near Fryeburg to

Newburyport. The heavy snow is nearly stationary.

A band of heavy snowfall is moving slowly towards the coast, and

will bring snowfall rates of 1 to 3 inches per hour as it does.

Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with this area of heavy snow,

and will drop visibility to one quarter mile or less at times.

Portland, Lewiston, Rochester, South Portland, Auburn, Biddeford,

Portsmouth, Brunswick, Augusta, Westbrook, Waterville, Hampton,

Exeter, Conway, Kittery, Farmington, Fairfield, Gardiner, Bridgton
