Still snowing, no wind and a Black Forrest Parfait recipe

Good morning Augusta

This morning we have clouds and it’s still snowing with 1 to 3 inches expected. Temps nearly steady in the mid 30s. Winds W at 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight we’ll have snow showers and a low of 28°F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 60% with additional snow accumulations of less than one inch.

Black Forest Parfait

one can cherry pie filling

1/4 cup black cherry preserves

1/4 cup sugar

1 tblsp lemon juice

3 oz 1/3-less-fat cream cheese

3.4 cup chocolate wafer crumbs

Combine pie filling and preserves, mixing until thoroughly blended.

Combine sugar, juice, and cheese in large mixing bowl, and beat at medium

speed until smooth.

Cover and chill.

Spoon 2 tsp. crumbs into each of 4 glasses; top each with 1 1/2 tblsp cream

cheese mixture and 3 tblsp cherry mixture.

Repeat layers once, ending with cherry mixture.  Serve immediately.
