Winter Weather Warning in effect

If you’re just waking up, DO NOT look outside.  It’s real crumby out there.

Winter Storm Warning statement as of 3:14 am EST on December 12, 2016

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 7 PM EST this evening...

* hazard types... snow... heavy at times this morning.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches.

* Timing... snow will end by noon in New Hampshire and early to mid afternoon in western Maine.

* Impacts... snow and low visibilities will make for hazardous travel conditions... especially during the morning commute.

* Winds... northeast 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

* Temperatures... in the mid 20s.

* Visibilities... one quarter to one half mile at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather

conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow

are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an

emergency. If you must travel... keep an extra flashlight...

food... and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
