Winter Weather Advisory statement as of 3:20 am EST on December 17, 2016

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 7 am EST Sunday.

* accumulations... snow accumulation of 3 to 6 inches along with up to a tenth of an inch of ice.

* Hazard types... snow... sleet and freezing rain.

* Timing... snow will develop around or just before daybreak today. The snow will mix with and change to sleet and freezing rain late today and tonight before changing to rain early Sunday

morning.

* Impacts... snow... sleet and freezing rain will create difficult travel.

* Winds... south 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or

freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for

slippery... and use caution while driving.
