This morning we have patchy dense fog and mostly sunny skies up there somewhere. Highs in the lower 60s with light and variable winds.

Tonight we’ll have Mostly clear conditions during evening hours, becoming partly cloudy. Patchy fog after midnight with lows in the upper 30s. Winds will be light and variable.

We didn’t receive any rain here over the past 24 hours. 

The wind is West Northwest between  1.6 MPH and 2.5 MPH.

CRUNCHY GARLIC CHICKEN

6 servings

Prep: 30 Min Bake: 25 Min

 

2 tbsp butter or margarine, melted

2 tbsp milk

1 tbsp chopped fresh chives

½ tsp salt

½ tsp garlic powder

2 cups Country® Corn Flakes cereal, crushed (1 cup)

3 tbsps chopped fresh parsley

½ tsp paprika

6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves

2 tbsps butter or margarine, melted

 

Heat oven to 425.° Spray rectangular pan, 13”x9”x2”, with cooking spray.  Mix 2 tbsp butter, the milk, chives, salt and garlic powder. Mix crushed cereal, parsley and paprika. Dip chicken into milk mixture, then coat lightly and evenly with cereal mixture. Place in pan. Drizzle with 2 tbsp butter.  Bake uncovered 20 to 25 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink when centers of thickest pieces are cut.
