This morning we have areas of patchy fog with showers. then showers with isolated thunderstorms during afternoon hours. Highs in the upper 50s with light and variable winds.

Tonight we’ll have isolated thunderstorms during evening hours and cloudy with scattered showers. Patchy fog with lows in the mid 50s. Winds will remain light and variable.

We received 0.07 inches of rain here over the past 24 hours, and it’s not done yet.

The wind is Northeast between  3.4 MPH and 10.1 MPH.

The Relative pressure is 30.08, the Absolute pressure is 29.88 and falling with a weather graphic indicating clouds and rain.

EASY PORK FRIED RICE

4 servings

 

1 tbsp vegetable oil

8 medium green onions, sliced (½ cup) 1 clove garlic, finely chopped 1½ cups water

½ cup Spicy Barbecue Sauce 

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 cup frozen mixed vegetables

2 cups uncooked instant rice

1 Spicy Barbecued Pork Tenderloin, cubed

 

Heat oil in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Cook onions and garlic in oil about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until onions are crisp-tender.  Stir in water, Spicy Barbecue Sauce, soy sauce and vegetables. Heat to boiling; remove from heat. Stir in rice and pork. Cover and let stand about 5 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
