This morning we have rain likely with a chance of snow, then snow with a chance for freezing rain this afternoon. Snow accumulation around an inch, ice accumulation around a trace. Highs in the mid 30s with North winds around 10 mph.

Tonight we'll have mostly cloudy skies with snow likely during evening hours, then clearing after midnight. Additional snow accumulation up to 1 inch and cooler with lows around 13°F. Winds will be north around 10 mph.

BARBECUED TEMPEH

 

Serves:  4

 

16 oz. tempeh

1 large onion, thinly sliced

2 cups prepared barbecue sauce

 

  • Cut the tempeh into chunks.
  • Steam over boiling water for 15 minutes.
  • Place the tempeh and sliced onion in a deep dish and pour the barbecue sauce over it.
  • Marinate in the refrigerator for at least one hour. 
  • Place on outdoor grill and cook until browned and heated through.
  • Baste frequently with barbecue sauce.  Can be cooked in a 350-degree oven, covered for 30 minutes.
