This morning we have a winter storm watch in effect, partly sunny skies with Highs in the mid 30s. Winds will shift to the west around 10 mph.

Tonight we'll have partly cloudy conditions during evening hours, then mostly cloudy with a chance of snow after midnight. Lows in the mid 20s with light and variable winds.

The wind direction is Northeast between 2.0 MPH and 7.4 MPH.

The Relative pressure is 29.56, the Absolute pressure is 29.36 and falling with a weather graphic indicating clouds and snow.

Okay, tomorrow morning, after you have this for dinner tonight, get on the bathroom scale and see how much weight you've dropped. Stick with it, you can keep losing it!

 

CRUNCHY PEA SALAD

Serves 8 (3/4 cup)

3 cups frozen peas, thawed

1 cup diced celery

1 ¾ cups chopped cauliflower

¼ cup chopped white onion

½ cup (2 oz) chopped dry-roasted cashews

2 tbsp Bacon Bits

¼ cup fat free Ranch dressing

½ cup fat-free mayonnaise

2 tsp dried parsley flakes

1 tbsp Splenda

 

In a large bowl, combine peas, celery, cauliflower, onion, cashews, and Bacon Bits.  In a small bowl, combine Ranch dressing, mayonnaise, parsley flakes, and Splenda.  Mix gently to combine.  Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes.  Gently stir again just before serving.

HINT:  Thaw peas by placing in a colander and rinsing under hot water for one minute.
