#MEwx High winds warning, rain, warm temps and a fantastic fish dish for dinner

Good morning Augusta

This morning we have clouds and periods of heavy rain with 1 to 2 inches possible, becoming windy late. High near 60°F. Winds E at 5 to 10 mph, becoming SSW and increasing to 25 to 35 mph with gusts as high as 60 MPH.

Tonight we’ll have partly cloudy and windy skies. Low 36°F. Winds W at 20 to 30 mph. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph.

The wind direction is West Northwest (this will change soon) between 2.0 MPH and 4.9 MPH and increasing as the day wears on.

The Relative pressure is 29.56, the Absolute pressure is 29.36 and falling with a weather graphic indicating rain.

Visibility is 4.0 miles / 6.4 Kilometers with mostly cloudy to 500 feet and overcast to 2,500 feet.

The UV rating is 0 out of 16, Sunrise is 7:18 A.M., Sunset is 5:25 P.M., Moonrise is 2:19 A.M., Moonset is 3:50 P.M. and the moon phase is waning crescent being 20% Illuminated.

We received 2.11 inches of rain here over the past 24 hours and it’s a long way from being done.

BAKED SALMON

 

4 servings

 

4 (2 ½ oz) salmon steaks

Vegetable cooking spray

2 tbsp lemon juice

½ tsp dried whole dill weed

½ tsp dried parsley flakes

½ tsp pepper

 

1.                  Rinse steaks thoroughly in cold water; pat dry with paper towels.

2.                  Place steaks in a shallow baking pan coated with cooking spray; brush with lemon juice.  Sprinkle evenly with dill weed, parsley, and pepper.

3.                  Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 35 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
