Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 6 am Tuesday to 8 am EST Wednesday.
The National Weather Service in gray has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow, sleet and freezing rain which is in effect from 6 am Tuesday to 8 am EST Wednesday.
* Hazard types...
* accumulations... snow accumulation of 3 to 6 inches along with around a tenth of an inch of ice.
* Timing... Tuesday and Tuesday night.
* Impacts... trecherous travel, especially for the evening commute Tuesday.
* Winds... east 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
* Temperatures... steady, mainly in the 20s.
* Visibilities... one quarter to one half mile at times.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
