Fog, melting and rain, ORANGE-FRUIT NUT TRUFFLES recipe too

Good Morning Augusta

We remain under a flood watch so stay out of water covering the roads.

This morning we have drizzle and fog with showers developing in the afternoon. High will reach 51 ºF. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40%.

Tonight we’ll have rain with thunder being possible early. Low will drop to 34 ºF. SSE winds shifting to WNW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 90%.

The readings from my weather instruments are:

Humidity is 97%, the dew point is 36ºF, outside it’s 2.8ºC and 37.0ºF.

The wind direction is North Northwest between 0.4 MPH and 1.1 MPH, generating a wind chill of 37.0ºF.

The Barometric pressure is 29.87 / HPA 1011.3 and rising with a weather graphic indicating sun.

We have no UV rating owing to the fog and clouds, Sunrise is at 6:22 a.m. Sunset is 5:22 P.M. Moon rise is at 6:48 a.m., Moon set is 4:30 p.m. and the moon phase is waning crescent.

The RAW METAR reading from the airport in Augusta, Maine is:

METAR KAUG 251153Z AUTO 33004KT M1/4SM FG VV002 03/02 A2986 RMK AO2 SLP114 70001 T00280017 10050 20022 55000

Visibility is 0.2 miles / 0.4 Kilometers with clouds and dense fog out there.

We didn’t receive any rain or snow here over the past 24 hours, but it’s definitely foggy and melting out there.

Space Weather for this morning is:

Today’s Solar flux is 82, the solar wind speed is 416  Kilometers per second and the chance of a solar storm is 1%.

Now this one is certainly different:
