Rain, dropping temps and relief from the heat wave at last!

Tonight we’ll have clouds early giving way to generally clear conditions overnight. Low 54°F. Winds NW at 10 to 20 mph.

The readings from my weather instruments are:

The wind direction is   West Northwest between 0.0 MPH and 0.1 MPH.

The Relative pressure is 29.71, the Absolute pressure is 29.50 and falling with a weather graphic indicating rain.

The UV rating is 0 out of 16, Sunrise is 5:01 a.m. Sunset is 8:25 p.m., Moonrise is 12:34 a.m., Moonset is 1:08 p.m. and the moon phase is waning gibbous being 48% illuminated.

No recipe today, with this rain and temperature drop, open every window in the house, put fans in the north windows pointing “in” and shotgun all of that built-up heat out of the South windows. Breath a sigh of relief.
