Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 7 PM EST this evening.

accumulations of up to two inches are expected.

Flood Warning statement as of 5:35 PM EST on January 17, 2018
The Flood Warning continues for the Kennebec river at Augusta.
* Until Thursday evening.
* At 05pm Wednesday the stage was 12.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* An ice jam remains in place between Farmingdale and Hallowell.
The river will remain at or above flood stage through the next few
days. Ice jams can move at any time. Water levels may flucutate
rapidly; do not approach the river.
