Flood Warning extended until Friday evening.

the Flood Warning continues for the Kennebec river at Augusta.

* Until Friday evening.

* At 9am the stage was 12.7 feet.

* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

* An ice jam continues to cause flooding along the Kennebec river.

It is expected that the river will remain near or above flood stage for the forseeable future. People living and working along the river should remain alert for rapidly rising water.
