Weather Statement this morning

Weather Statement for Augusta area: Patchy areas of freezing rain and drizzle will continue through 10

am across interior central and western Maine. Untreated roads

will be slippery, and motorists are urged to use caution.

This morning it is overcast with a chance of rain. High of 43F. Winds from the NNE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30%.

Tonight it will be overcast with a chance of snow and rain showers, then mostly cloudy with a chance of snow and a chance of rain. Low of 28F with a windchill as low as 19F. Winds from the North at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 30%.

The readings outside right now, taken from my own weather instruments:

a relative humidity of

95% with a Dew Point of 31.0ºF.

The temperature is 32.2ºF with a wind chill of 27ºF.

Presently we have North Northeast winds between  8.5 mph and 9.8 mph.

Our Barometric pressure is 30.07 and rising with a weather graphic indicating sun. 

We had precipitation in this area overnight of 0.02 inches, but the precip is not over with yet.

Visibility is 1.2 miles with clouds and overcast down to 400 feet.
