Weather Advisory

The National Weather Service in gray has issued a Winter Weather

Advisory for snow sleet and freezing rain which is in effect from

11 PM this evening to 10 am EST Sunday.

* Locations... southern and central interior Maine.

* Hazard types... snow then sleet and freezing rain before changing

to rain.

* Accumulations... 3 to 5 inches of snow.

* Timing... 11 PM tonight to 10 am Saturday.

* Impacts... roads will be snow covered and slippery.

* Winds... south 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* Temperatures... in the mid 20s tonight warming to the lower to

mid 30s Saturday.

*Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or

freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for

slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while

driving.
