Today is Saint Winwaloe Day!!

"Winwaloe comes as if he were mad"

Born about 450 AD and died 3 March, 532, he'd fled to Brittany from Plouguin

France to avoid the plague.

He ended up founding a Monastery in France. He is venerated in both Briteny and Wales.

See what interesting things you can learn on a Saturday morning instead of watching cartoons and re-runs of old movies?
