At 319 am EST, an ice jam remains on the Kennebec river near Farmingdale. The water level at Augusta continues to fluctuate just below flood stage. Due to the cold weather, more frazil ice is flowing downstream and accumulating in Augusta. People living and working along the river from Augusta downstream to Hallowell and Gardiner should remain alert for rapidly rising water.
