This morning we have clouds with snow likely, Additional snow accumulation around an inch for total snow accumulation 2 to 4 inches. Highs in the mid 30s with North winds 10 to 15 mph gusting to 30 mph. Tonight we’ll have partly cloudy conditions during evening hours, then clearing. Cooler with lows around 6 above. Winds will be North 10 to 15 mph gusting to 25 mph. Wind chill values as low as 6 below after midnight.

This recipe is remarkably tasty. You may be tired of chicken meals by now, but chicken is nutritious and is much cheaper than other meat options. Well, unless you’ve just won the lottery that is.

 

CRUNCHY GARLIC CHICKEN

6 servings

Prep: 30 Min Bake: 25 Min

 

2 tbsp butter or margarine, melted

2 tbsp milk

1 tbsp chopped fresh chives

½ tsp salt

½ tsp garlic powder

2 cups Country® Corn Flakes cereal, crushed (1 cup)

3 tbsps chopped fresh parsley

½ tsp paprika

6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves

2 tbsps butter or margarine, melted

 

Heat oven to 425.° Spray rectangular pan, 13”x9”x2”, with cooking spray.  Mix 2 tbsp butter, the milk, chives, salt and garlic powder. Mix crushed cereal, parsley and paprika. Dip chicken into milk mixture, then coat lightly and evenly with cereal mixture. Place in pan. Drizzle with 2 tbsp butter.  Bake uncovered 20 to 25 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink when centers of thickest pieces are cut.
