FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY EVENING THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON  
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall and snow melt is possible.  
* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Maine, including  
the following counties, in south central Maine, Kennebec and  
Lincoln. In southwest Maine, Androscoggin. 
* WHEN...From Tuesday evening through Wednesday afternoon. 
* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.  
Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with snow and other  
debris. Small stream flooding will also be possible. 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... 
You should monitor the latest forecast and be alert for possible  
Flood Warnings. Now is the time to prepare by clearing snow from  
drains. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared  
to take action should flooding develop.
