SOUTHEASTERN ANDROSCOGGIN...WEST CENTRAL LINCOLN AND NORTHWESTERN SAGADAHOC COUNTIES...

At 4:40 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Litchfield, or

9 miles southwest of Gardiner, moving northeast at 35 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...

Lewiston, Gardiner, Topsham, Wiscasset, Litchfield, Farmingdale, Hallowell, Woolwich, Lisbon, Greene, Durham, Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Chelsea, Dresden, Alna, Sabattus, Pittston, West Gardiner and Richmond.

This includes the following highways...

Interstate 295 between mile markers 32 and 51.

Interstate 95 between mile markers 81 and 106.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
