The National Weather Service in gray has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect from 5 PM this afternoon to 6 am EDT Thursday.

* Winds... west 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* Timing... late afternoon Wednesday through early Thursday morning

* impacts... strong wind gusts could lead downed trees and limbs causing power outages.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 to 39 mph... or wind gusts 46 to 57 mph... are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high profile vehicles.
