SLOW COOKER SLOPPY JOES

24 sandwiches (Joes for 3 recipes, about 2½ cups each)

3 lbs ground turkey or beef

1 large onion, coarsely chopped (1 cup)

1 ½ medium stalks celery, chopped (1 ½ cups)

1 cup barbecue sauce

1 can (26 ½ oz) sloppy joe sauce

24 hamburger buns

Cook turkey and onion in 4-quart Dutch oven over heat about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, turkey is no longer pink; drain.  Mix turkey mixture and remaining ingredients except  buns in 31/2- to 6-quart slow cooker.  Cover and cook on low heat setting 7 to 9 (or high heat setting 3 to 4 hours) or until vegetables are tender.  Uncover and cook on high heat setting until desired consistency. Stir well before set with turkey mixture.
