We’re under a wind advisory as of 10 a.m. this morning so get the trash cans in right after the trash pickup, or you’ll find your cans over in Waterville.

This morning we’ll have a few afternoon clouds, otherwise mainly sunny. High 21 ºF. Winds out of the NW at 10 to 20 mph.

Tonight we’ll have some clouds early that will give way to generally clear conditions overnight. Low will drop to 5 ºF. Winds will be from the WNW at 10 to 15 mph.

Hey vegetarians, how about some Barbecue tonight?

BARBECUED TEMPEH

Serves:  4

16 oz. tempeh

1 large onion, thinly sliced

2 cups prepared barbecue sauce

•           Cut the tempeh into chunks.

•           Steam over boiling water for 15 minutes.

•           Place the tempeh and sliced onion in a deep dish and pour the barbecue sauce over it.

•           Marinate in the refrigerator for at least one hour. 

•           Place on outdoor grill and cook until browned and heated through.

•           Baste frequently with barbecue sauce.  Can be cooked in a 350-degree oven, covered for 30 minutes.
