Rain and snow with real winter temps today

Good Morning Augusta

Its snowing, then its raining, then back to snow.  Bottom line is that its crappy out there.

This morning we have snow with cloudy skies and a high around 35F. Winds N at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 100%. 3 to 5 inches of snow expected. 

Tonight we’ll have partly cloudy skies and a low at or below 17F. Winds NW at 10 to 20 mph.

The readings from my instruments are:

Humidity is 74%, the dew point is 23ºF, its 29.9ºF outside with a wind chill of 22.5ºF.

The wind direction is Northwest between 6.3 mph and 9.7 mph.

The Barometric pressure is 30.16 / HPA 1021.3 and falling with a weather graphic indicating rain.  

There is no UV rating because of the thick weather, Sunrise is at 6:53 a.m. Sunset is 4:53 P.M. Moon rise is at 4:15 A.M. EST and the moon phase is   waning crescent.

Visibility is 0.8 miles / 12.1 kilometers withlow-hanging clouds, NWS doesn’t have an altitude for me today.

Its raining/snowing out there, but I have no reading on it for you yet.
