Clouds and colder than yesterday

Good Morning Augusta

This morning we have scattered snow flurries and snow showers, becoming partly cloudy later. High 32F. Winds WNW at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of snow 30%. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph. 

Tonight we’ll have clear skies and a low at or below 11F. Winds WNW at 10 to 20 mph.

The readings from my instruments are:

Humidity is 58%, the dew point is 16ºF, its 29.7ºF outside with a wind chill of 15.7ºF.

The wind direction is Southwest between 9.8 mph and 16.3 mph.

The Barometric pressure is 29.50 / HPA 009.4 and rising with a weather graphic indicating sun.  

The UV rating is 1.0 out of 16, Sunrise is at 6:22 a.m. Sunset is 5:22 P.M. Moon rise is at 9:20 p.m. and the moon phase is Waning gibbous.

 We’ve had 0.10 inches of rain here over the past 24 hours.

For those of you interested in brometric pressue, recall that “normal” sea level pressure is considered to be 29.92.  “Significantly low” is considered to be 29.50. 

Yesterday we bottomed out at 29.00.  So, if yu felt tired and generally as if a good nap was in order, the barometric pressure might be why.
