LOW PRESSURE TO BRING ACCUMULATING SNOW TO THE REGION TONIGHT AND TUESDAY.
An area of low pressure is expected to move from the Great Lakes on Monday and then across New England Monday night into Tuesday before pulling away from the region Tuesday night. Snow is expected to overspread the region from the late Monday evening into the nighttime hours and continue through the day on Tuesday before tapering off Tuesday night.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM TUESDAY TO 5 AM EST WEDNESDAY.
* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 5
inches. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph.
* WHERE...Portions of south central, west central, and western
Maine. Portions of northern New Hampshire.
* WHEN...From 7 AM Tuesday to 5 AM EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Periods of moderate snow will combine with low
visibility to create hazardous driving conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes.
