LOW PRESSURE TO BRING ACCUMULATING SNOW TO THE REGION MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY.

An area of low pressure is expected to move from the Great Lakes on Monday and then across New England Monday night into Tuesday before pulling away from the region Tuesday night. Snow is expected to overspread the region from late Monday evening into the

nighttime hours and continue through the day on Tuesday before tapering off Tuesday night.

WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING.

* WHAT...Moderate to heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations greater than 6 inches possible.

* WHERE...Portions of south central, southwest, and western Maine. Portions of central and northern New Hampshire.

* WHEN...From late Monday night through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Periods of moderate and heavy snow may produce periods of low visibility to create hazardous driving conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes.
