LOW PRESSURE TO BRING SNOW AND SOME MIXED PRECIPITATION TO THE REGION WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY.
Low pressure will move eastward from the eastern Great Lakes States
on Wednesday and then across southern New England late Wednesday night and Thursday. Snow is expected to overspread the watch area from west to east Wednesday night and may be heavy at times. Sleet and freezing drizzle may mix in late Wednesday night and especially Thursday.
Another period of snow may occur Thursday night into Friday with more minor accumulations possible.

THURSDAY EVENING.
* WHAT...Heavy snow and sleet possible. Total snow accumulations
greater than 6 inches and sleet accumulations up to one quarter of
an inch possible. Light icing possible in freezing drizzle
Thursday.
* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Maine. Portions of
central and northern New Hampshire.
* WHEN...From Wednesday evening through Thursday evening.
* IMPACTS...A period of heavy snow could combine with low visibility
and possible freezing drizzle to create dangerous driving
conditions Wednesday night and Thursday. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes.
