LOW PRESSURE TO BRING ACCUMULATING SNOW TO THE REGION THROUGH THIS EVENING.
An area of low pressure will exit the region tonight. Snow will taper off west to east before ending overnight.

Kennebec-Interior Waldo-Lincoln-Knox-Coastal Waldo-
Including the cities of Augusta, Sidney, Windsor, Vassalboro,
Waterville, China, Palermo, Brooks, Jackson, Knox, Liberty,
Montville, Morrill, Waldo, Winterport, Unity, Whitefield, Dresden,
Alna, Bremen, Bristol, Damariscotta, Newcastle, Boothbay Harbor,
Wiscasset, Waldoboro, Owls Head, Rockland, Appleton, Camden, Hope,
Rockport, Thomaston, Belfast, Northport, Searsmont, and Lincolnville

WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM EST WEDNESDAY.
* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations between 3 and 6 inches
for a storm total of 4 to 8 inches.
* WHERE...Coastal Waldo, Interior Waldo, Kennebec, Knox, and Lincoln
Counties.
* WHEN...Until 4 AM EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Periods of moderate snow will combine with low
visibility to create hazardous driving conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact this evening's commute.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Persons should delay all travel if possible. If travel is absolutely
necessary, drive with extreme caution and be prepared for sudden
changes in visibility. Leave plenty of room between you and the
motorist ahead of you, and allow extra time to reach your
destination. Avoid sudden braking or acceleration, and be especially
cautious on hills or when making turns. Make sure your car is
winterized and in good working order.
