If you need a goodie for the kids when it's too soggy outside for them to play, and you lack formal fixings to make something. Try this one.

GRAHAM CRACKERS WITH BROWN SUGAR

6 graham crackers, whole

2 Tblsp. butter or margarine

4 Tblsp. brown sugar

½ cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 400.

Spread graham crackers on baking sheet in one layer.

Cream butter and sugar together; add nuts.  Spread on graham crackers.

Bake until sugar melts and caramelizes, just a few minutes.  Sugar will have spread over the crackers when melted.

These will burn quickly.
