Dense Fog Expected Again Tonight.

As widespread rainfall tapers to showers this evening...ample low level moisture will allow for the development of fog across the region. Areas of dense fog are expected...with visibilities gradually improving well after midnight.

DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM THIS EVENING TO 5 AM EDT FRIDAY.

The National Weather Service in Gray has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect from 8 PM this evening to 5 AM EDT Friday.

* Visibilities...One quarter mile or less at times.

* Timing...Fog will thicken this evening and continue through much of the night before visibilities improve towards daybreak Friday.

* Impacts...Dense fog will reduce visibility and make driving difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down...

use your headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
