to 5 inches and ice accumulations of around one tenth of an

inch.

* Where... portions of northern New Hampshire and south central

and southwest Maine.

* When... until 1 PM EST today. Mixed snow, freezing rain and rain.

* Additional details... plan on slippery Road conditions. The

hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening

commute. A new band of snow may potentially form and reach the

region late this morning and this afternoon.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or

... Areas of freezing rain will gradually change to snow this

morning...

Areas of freezing rain which have left a coating of ice on many

roadways, walkways and over trees will gradually change to snow

this morning across portions of southern Maine. The snow may

become briefly heavy in a few locations, leading to slow and

difficult travel. Temperatures will remain relatively steady, in

the lower to mid 30s.
