#MEwx Now in effect: Special Statement for our area
Special Statement as of 12:36 PM EST on January 27, 2019
Snow showers expected this afternoon with possibly a snow squall early this evening.
An area of snow showers and possibly snow squalls will move eastward from upstate New York this afternoon, reaching portions of southern and eastern New Hampshire as well as southern and
central Maine early this evening. The precipitation may mix with or change to rain showers over southern and coastal areas.
Any snow squalls may cause near zero visibility due to a brief period of heavy snow and gusty winds. Blowing snow will also occur within the snow squalls. Travel during snow squalls is not
recommended. Consider delaying travel until after the snow squalls have passed.
