Slippery conditions continue through this evening.

Light snow across the region this evening will continue to make

for slippery travel. Total snow accumulations are expected to range from a half inch to 2 inches with local amounts around 3 inches. In addition, there may be some patchy freezing drizzle on the coastal plain later on this evening which could make things more slick. Motorists are urged to slow down in order to avoid sliding off roadways.
