Wind Advisory update

Wind Advisory as of 9:27 am EST on January 10, 2016

Wind Advisory remains in effect from 3 PM this afternoon to

8 PM EST this evening.

* winds... southeast 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* Timing... this afternoon into this evening.

* Impacts... winds may down tree limbs onto wires leading to some

 power outages.

 

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 35 mph... or wind

gusts up to 57 mph... are expected. Winds this strong can make

driving difficult... especially for high profile vehicles. Use

extra caution.
